REQUEST FOR QUOTE 1 Gbps Symmetrical Ethernet Dedicated Internet Access (DIA) - Rapid City, SD INTRODUCTION This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2025-06, effective 10/01/2025. This requirement is being solicited under full and open competition. DESCRIPTION The U.S. Geological Survey, Dakota Water Science Center, requires a DIA internet circuit and services as described in the attached Statement of Work (SOW). The USGS requires a base year plus two option years. RELEVANT INFORMATION The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 517111 Wired Telecommunications Carriers and associated size standard 1,500 applies to this announcement, along with Product Service Code DG10 IT and Telecom - Network as a Service. All services will be performed at the Dakota Water Science Center located at 1608 Mountain View Road, Rapid City, SD, 57702. SUBMISSION OF QUOTES All questions must be sent directly to eadam@usgs.gov by Tuesday, December 16, 2025, at 5:00pm ET. All quote documents required by this solicitation must be uploaded and received in their entirety no later than Wednesday, December 17, 2025, at 5:00pm ET. Quotes shall only be accepted through electronic mail addressed to the Contract Specialist at eadam@usgs.gov. Quotes submitted by hardcopy or any web portal shall not be accepted or considered. Offerors are to include a technical description of the items being offered in sufficient detail to evaluate compliance with the requirements in the solicitation as seen in the Evaluation Factors/Salient Characteristics (see Attachment) which include technical capability, price, and past performance.
