This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial supply prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation being issued; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is being conducted under Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) as a Request for Quote (RFQ). Please provide a narrative statement from your company on how you can successfully cover your financial responsibilities for the rebuild of the interconnecting cable sets inside this test bench. Along with this narrative, please provide any substantiating documentation that you feel would bolster your position. Examples of substantiating documentation can be found at DFARS 232.072-2

This is for the purchase of Intrusion Detection System hardware and installation services. The Advance program office is currently needing to upgrade room 118 to ICD 705 Standards for the mission that is coming to room 118 in building 229 North. The Base Defense Operations Center (BDOC) requires all new facilities requiring alarm monitoring be installed with Honeywell Vindicator (V5) Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS) in order to be compatible with BDOCS monitoring station. All interested vendors must provide up-to-date Vindicator certification with their quote submission to be deemed responsive.
