Description: THIS IS A PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE FOR A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL (RFP). Proposals shall only be requested and accepted from contractors who are a Small Business AND certified in System for Award Management (SAM, https://sam.gov).
The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), United States Forest Service (USFS), has a requirement for but not limited to the following:

Project consists of furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, tools, transportation, incidentals, inspection, quality control and supplies necessary to repair 47.35 miles of Minarets Road, 17.55 miles of Beasore Road and 5.49 miles of Beasore Loop Road.
Contractor shall clean and recondition the culverts and all other drainage structures along Beasore and Beasore Loop Roads. Place approximately 250 Tons per mile of base rock to improve parking areas & berms, install approximately 25 miles of sections of asphalt dike on out-slope parts of the road to direct runoff to specific locations where big mac will be installed. Place approximately 50 Tons per mile of Rip Rap along ditches & leadoffs, place a 3” layer of base rock along Beasore Loop Road, replace approximately 11 culverts 40 feet long each with an average depth of 6 feet, cutting roadway vegetation on 1 mile of Sky Ranch Road, 5.46 miles of Beasore Loop Road & 11.6 miles on Beasore Road and paint a double center line on 74.89 miles including Minarets, Beasore and Sky Ranch Roads.
Project Location: From Oakhurst, CA. head north on CA-41, travel 3.8 miles and turn right onto road 632, stay road 632 for approximately 1.3 miles until reach the beginning of the NFSR 6S10 Sky Ranch Road, stay on the 6S10 for 11.2 miles until reach the NFSR 6S10X Beasore Loop Road, (37.441466, -119.539039)
Solicitation Number 127EAW25R0020 for this effort will be posted to SAM.gov (https://sam.gov) on or about May 8th, 2025. This solicitation will contain all necessary specifications, drawings and other information necessary to submit a proposal for this project.
There is currently no official group site visit scheduled. The solicitation will include site visit information if one is deemed necessary.
