This is a market survey for a construction project titled: 23-021127 MMAC PV#2 Phase-2 Array at the Mike Monroney Aeronautical Center (MMAC), Oklahoma City, OK.
This project is to install an additional Photovoltaic (PV) System on the MMAC campus in Oklahoma City, OK to produce renewable electricity and offset a portion of the MMAC’s utility energy consumption. This PV#2 system will be installed on available MMAC campus land West of Quesada Drive and North of the existing PV#1 system. This PV#2 system will be a utility grid-tied, ground-mount, fixed-tilt system with a maximum power generating capacity of 1.6MW DC. The Phase-2 Array system will consist of solar panels attached to a driven-pier rack support structure. Combiners, inverters, and feeders will connect the power generated from this project’s array to the existing MMAC Medium Voltage (MV) distribution equipment being provided under a separate project. Site improvements will be required for installation of the PV panels and associated equipment. Lightning protection and counter-poise grounding are also required. PV#2’s generated energy and operation will be measured and monitored via the required integration of this system with PV#1’s existing MMAC MetaSys metering and monitoring network.
The estimated price range for this project is $1,000,000 to $5,000,000. The Contract Award is projected for September 2025. Performance and payment bonds will be required in a penal sum equal to 100% of the contract price.
