Notice of Intent to Sole Source Requirement The Department of Veterans Affairs, VA Healthcare System, Network Contracting Office 1, Regional Procurement Office East intends to negotiate a sole source contract for 5965- Headsets, Handsets, Microphones and Speakers, other than full and open competition will be utilized to award to a service-disabled veteran owned small business firm for this procurement as implemented by FAR 8.405-6 (a)(2) under 47QSWA22D0012. Competition is restricted on this procurement due to only one source capable of providing the supplies or services required. The associated NAICS code for this is 334310. The vendor will be USVETSERV, LLC, 355 ENGLISH OAK RD SIMPSONVILLE, SC 29681-5106. Description of Supplies: The Contracting Activity is looking to acquire delivery of (13) Mynd Essentials Headset for Clinics (Mfr Part No. MI-ME-VC-1), (24) Mynd Essentials Headset for Veterans Home Use ((MfrPart No. MI-ME-VH-1), and (20) Premium Plus Headset Bundles (MH3-PP). The Essential Headsets are being manufactured by OEM Mynd Immersive dba MyndVR, 5465 Legacy Drive Suite 650, Plano, TX 75024, US and the Headset Bundle is being manufactured by Magic Horizons GmbH, Lohweg 35 85375 Neufahrn, Germany. These Virtual Reality Glasses will be used to promote Whole Health and Well-being for VA Connecticut Healthcare System s (VACHCS) Veteran population. The location of the service will be at West Haven VA Medical Center, 950 Campbell Avenue West Haven, CT 06516-2770. It is the Government's belief that only the proposed candidate possesses the required capabilities to successfully meet this requirement. It is the Government's intention to solicit and negotiate with only this source. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. It is not a solicitation or request for offers. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government. Responses must be received NLT 10:00 AM EST on 07/23/2025.
