    John Day Fossil Beds National Monument, Maintenance Facility, Kimberly, Oregon 97848

    Project Title: Replacement of 600 Amp Single-Phase Service Entrance Main Distribution Panel – Maintenance Shop

    The Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, supervision, and incidentals necessary to complete the panel replacement. This project involves the removal and replacement of the existing 600 amp Main Distribution Panel (MDP) that serves the maintenance shop. The new MDP will be a 600 amp, 120/240 volt, single-phase, 3-wire service entrance panel. This upgrade is necessary to improve safety, reliability, and code compliance while supporting current and future electrical demands.

    Demolition & removal of old panel, install new panel, to include all wiring & terminations, testing & commissioning of new panel.

    Deliverables: The Contractor shall provide the following:

    • Submit cut sheets and product submittals for panel and breakers prior to installation.
    • Provide as-built drawings, updated panel schedule, and warranty documents upon project completion.

    Period of Performance: 60 days from notice to proceed.

    The NAICS code is 238210 (Electrical Contractors and Other Wiring Installation Contractors) , Small Business Size Standard is $19 million.

    In accordance with FAR Subpart 36.204, the magnitude of this requirement is estimated:
    Less than $35,000.

    The solicitation, and specifications are expected to be posted on or about JULY 29th, 2025 (this is a target date which may slip or change; if the solicitation is not posted on SAM JULY 29th, 2025, that is because the solicitation is not available for posting). The solicitation will be available for a minimum of fifteen (15) calendar days once posted.

    This is a Pre-solicitation Notice. The Solicitation will include information on how to obtain the plans and specifications. All responsible sources may submit a proposal to be considered by the Agency posted to the Governmentwide Point of Entry (GPE) website at https://www.sam.gov. The contracting office will not provide hardcopies or email copies of the solicitation.

    All interested offers MUST have an active vendor record in SAM.gov, be a small business under the identified NAICS code and NOT have any exclusion such as a delinquent federal debt or debarment.

    SYSTEM FOR AWARD MANAGEMENT (SAM): Federal Acquisition Regulations require that federal contractors register in the System for Award Management (SAM) database at https://www.sam.gov and enter all mandatory information into the system.
