The Department of Veteran Affairs intends to award a sole source firm fixed price purchase order to ADVANCED STERILIZATION PRODUCTS SERVICES. The Department of Veterans Affairs, Charles George VA Medical Center (VAMC) requires 3 new sterrads ST100NX ALLCLEAR 1-DR DUO and a STERRAD NX SYSTEM cart for the Charles George VAMC. The Contractor will provide all transportation, material hardware and parts, tools, specialized equipment, labor, supervision, and technical expertise to provide the required equipment for the Charles George VAMC, Asheville, NC. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations; however, all expressions of interest received within three (3) days of the issuance of this notice will be considered by the government. Interested contractors may identify their capability to provide the services prescribed within this notice and should provide sufficient data for the government to determine them as a comparable alternative to the intended source. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. This proposed contract action is for services for which the government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1.
