    The Department of Veterans Affairs Network Contracting Office (NCO) 19, Rocky Mountain Acquisition Center (RMAC) is issuing this sources sought notice as a means of conducting market research to identify parties having an interest in, and the resources to support this requirement for an Ambulance Communication System for the Salt Lake City VA Medical Center. The result of this market research will contribute to determining the method of procurement. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code assigned to this procurement is 334220 – Radio and Television Broadcasting and Wireless Communications Equipment Manufacturing.

    The Department of Veterans Affairs has a requirement for an Ambulance Communication System for the Salt Lake City VA Medical Center. The contractor will provide a radio-communication system, with installation included. The communications system must allow for communication to and from any ambulances and hospital, with two base station radios. The system must conform to 700 MHz P25 guidelines as outlined at 700 MHz P25 system. The system must be compatible with Salt Lake Valley Dispatch (SLCVECC). The system must be fully compatible with the Utah statewide P25 radio system, with radios properly programmed and registered on the P25 system.
