The acquisition sought is an FSS-BPA that will cover consumables and supplies needed to produce a cost-per-reportable result (CPRR) at the following medical centers. 526: James J. Peters VA Medical Center, 130 W Kingsbridge Rd, Bronx, NY 10468 561: East Orange VA Medical Center, 385 Tremont Ave, East Orange, NJ 07018 620: Castle Point VA Medical Center, 41 Castle Point RD, Wappingers Falls, NY 12590 630: Margaret Cochran Corbin VA Medical Center, 423 E 23rd St, New York, NY 10010 630: Brooklyn VA Medical Center, 800 Poly Place, Brooklyn, NY 11209 632: Northport VA Medical Center, 79 Middleville Rd, Northport, NY 11768 VA personnel utilize the equipment and consumables to perform in-house routine urinalysis and microscopic testing. The NAICS is 334516 with a small business size standard of 1,000 employees. PSC is 6632. For five of the six VISN2 sites, the vendor will provide a primary routine urinalysis testing platform. The platforms and the testing must be 100% FDA approved. Sites included are James J. Peters VA Medical Center, Hudson Valley Healthcare System, Margaret Cochran Corbin VA Campus, Brooklyn VA Medical Center, Northport VA Medical Center. The primary platforms must integrate chemistry and microscopic testing modules with a single point of entry for specimens. Additionally, the vendor will provide a backup, or secondary, means of performing the chemistry (reagent strip) portion of testing in the event the primary platform in not operational. The primary platform must perform all testing listed in Schedule A. The secondary platform must perform all testing listed under Reagent strip Chemistry Tests, Semi-quantitative/Qualitative in Schedule A. The primary and secondary platforms must use the same reagent strips for testing and must use the same result parameters. For the remaining site, East Orange VAMC, the vendor will provide two complete and identical routine urinalysis testing platforms. The platforms must integrate chemistry and microscopic testing modules with a single point of entry for specimens on each platform. Both platforms must perform all testing listed in Schedule A. Schedule A tests: General: Urine Color, Urine Clarity Reagent strip Chemistry Tests, Semi-quantitative/Qualitative: Urine Glucose, Urine Bilirubin, Urine Ketones, Urine Specific Gravity, Urine Blood, Urine pH, Urine Protein, Urine Urobilinogen, Urine Nitrites, Urine Leukocyte Esterase Microscopic: Automated evaluation identifying established pathogenic and non-pathogenic microscopic elements. The current FSS-BPA with Beckman Coulter, Inc. will expire on June 30, 2025. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals and no solicitation will be made available. Any responses received no later than COB May 23, 2025 will be considered for the purposes of determining sources for future procurements. The Government will not pay for information submitted. Any information submitted in response to this notice of intent is strictly voluntary. This will be the only notice of the Government's intent to solicit, negotiate, and award to one source to satisfy this requirement.
