Sources Sought Notice The Department of Veterans Affairs, Veterans Health Administration (VHA), Network Contracting Office 8 (NCO 8) is seeking potential Small Business sources (SDVOSB / VOSB) for the following procurement: Automated Erythrocyte Sedimentation Rate (ESR) Cost Per Test for locations described in the draft Statement of Need (SON). Sources that can provide Brand Name or Equal of the Alcor iSED Pro Analyzer system as identified in the attached SON. Interested firms must provide the following: Company information (name, address) SAM UEI number POC (name and email, phone) Business Size Any interested company must also provide relevant information (specifications, cut sheets, brochures), a capabilities statement (if available) accompanied by an authorization letter (on manufacturer s - Alcor Scientific - letterhead) stating your company is an authorized dealer/distributor for equipment, supplies and maintenance of the item iSED Pro Analyzer System. Capable firms must respond to the POC before the closing date and time of the Sources Sought (Oct 31, 2025, 0900 EST) to be considered and must respond directly to the POC email address listed in the notice for consideration. The information in this notice is for information and planning purposes only and is not to be construed as a commitment by the government. No contract will be awarded from this notice. Notice of Intent If no responses are received, or a response from a firm that is considered not capable of fulfilling the requested supplies, VISN 8 intends to award a sole source firm-fixed priced contract to Alcor Scientific Inc for the Brand specific iSED Pro ESR Analyzer system equipment, supplies and maintenance. The anticipated statuary authority permitting other than full and open competition is 41 U.S.C. 3304(a)(1), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements.
