NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT TO CEPHEID, 904 CARIBBEAN DR, SUNNYVALE, CA 94089 for Short Term Emergency Contract for Molecular Random Access Analyzer, Cepheid GeneXpert Infinity Reagents and Consumables, 10 Casia Rd, San Juan, PR 00921. This procurement is being conducted in accordance with FAR 13.5 Simplified Procedures for Certain Commercial Items. The statutory authority for applying the Simplified Procedures for Commercial Items of FAR 13.5 is U.S.C. § 1901 and is implemented by FAR 13.106-1(b)(2). The North American Industry Classification System code for this procurement is 334516 and the Small Business Administrative size standard is 1,000 Employees. The current Federal Acquisition Circular is 2025-02 dated 01/03/2025.
