    Description

    The Fleet Logistics Center (FLC), Norfolk, VA Contracting Department has been tasked to procure a firm-fixed price type contract from qualified and responsible sources capable of providing Cooling Tower Water and Treatment services in accordance with the Performance Work Statement (PWS) incorporated within the attached RFQ N0018924Q0419. This is a Combined SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION for commercial services prepared in accordance with the information in FAR Subpart 12.6, using Simplified Acquisition Procedures for commercial items found at FAR Part 13, as supplemented with the additional information included in this notice. This synopsis shall be posted on both the NECO (https://www.neco.navy.mil) and SAM.gov (https://www.sam.gov). The RFQ number is N0018924Q0419 The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 325998 All Other Miscellaneous Chemical Product and Preparation Manufacturing with a Size Standard of 500 number of employees. This requirement is being advertised as a Total Small Business Set-Aside. A complete RFQ package will be available by downloading the documents at SAM.gov https://www.sam.gov on or around 08/21/2024. Potential contractors are hereby notified that the solicitation and subsequent amendments to the solicitation will ONLY be available for download at the above site, this office will NOT issue hard copy solicitations. By submitting an offer, the vendor is self-certifying that neither the requestor nor the principal corporate officials and owners are currently suspended, debarred, or otherwise ineligible to receive contracts from any federal agency. Failure to do so may represent grounds for refusing to accept the offer. By submission of an offer, the contractor acknowledges the requirement that a prospective awardee must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database prior to award, during performance, and through final payment of any contract resulting from this solicitation, except for awards to foreign vendors for work to be performed outside the United States. Lack of registration in the SAM database will make a contractor ineligible for award.
