The 99th Contracting Squadron intends to award a sole source award under the authority of FAR 12.102(a) to PLEXSYS Interface Products, Inc., due to only one source being capable of providing the supplies or services required at the level of quality required because the supplies or services are unique or highly specialized. 2.0 TASK REQUIREMENTS: Shall provide technical support for the ASCOT 7 and SONOMARC software systems for multi-domain war-fighting modeling and simulation (M&S) environments, scenario generator along with training and travel for personnel to install, configure and operate the systems.

4. Description
a. (i) Clear and Concise Description of Supplies or Services:
Service Title: 805 CTS Software Technical Support
Brief Description: The 805 CTS requires a contracted service to continue Technical Support for ASCOT7 and Sonomarc software supporting Nellis AFB, which is required to ensure fully mission capable systems to prevent mission interruption of communications and scenario generation for the squadron's primary experiment mission in addition to updates, troubleshooting, and helpdesk assistance. This includes full compatibility and conformity to the 805 CTS’s cyber security threshold and ensuring security regulations set forth by DAF Information Assurance.
(ii) Procedures for Award: The Government intends to award a single source contract directly to the incumbent, PLEXSYS Interface Products, Inc. This action is taken to ensure zero degradation and impact to the 805 CTS experimentation at Nellis AFB. The legal authority for this non-competitive action is cited as one responsible source under 1- U.S.C 3204(a)(1).
