AASHTO ANNUAL DATAMINE SUBSCRIPTION

“Pursuant to 13.101(b), the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) intends to solicit from a single source with the American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials (AASHTO) for memberships in this professional organization is intended to provide professional support and growth to FHWA’s professionals. AASHTO (American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials) is a non-profit, non-partisan association of state transportation departments, serving as a vital liaison between states and the federal government to develop national standards, policies, and an integrated transportation system.  AASHTO has developed a document repository for manufacturer’s to submit domestic materials compliance certifications for the State DOT’s use in demonstrating domestic origin for Federal Aid contracts.  A subscription service is also available for other government entities, AASHTO has quoted a subscription cost of $25,000 per year which will allow all full-time FHWA staff members to access data in DataMine to monitor contract compliance.  AASHTO is the the non-profit, sole source of the service.
