ABBOTT GLUOCOMETER INTERFACE SOFTWARE FOR PATIENT EHR AT CLSU

The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), Indian Health Service (IHS), Bemidji Area intents to award a Firm Fixed Price Contract on a sole source basis to Rocket Software, for the Cass Lake IHS Hospital in Cass Lake, MN. The anticipated period of performance will be for a base plus 3 option years.

The sole source action will be issued under the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1 - Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. Abbott Diagnostics currently is contracted to provide glucometer services and works solely with Rocket Software for all of their interfacing that goes from the Middleware system UniPoc, to the hospitals Electronic Health Record (EHR) system. The Interface software provided by Rocket Software Inc. is required for the results from the UniPoc glucometer meters to transmit into the patient Electronic Health Record (EHR).
