It is the offeror's responsibility to monitor this this SAM.gov posting, as well as the ASR website for amendments to this solicitation and other information. Potential offerors will be responsible for downloading their own copy of the solicitation and amendments.

Advanced Spacesuit Regulator (ASR) Notice of Proposed Contract Action
NASA/JSC plans to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) for the Advanced Spacesuit Regulator (ASR) Contract solicitation.
The principal purpose of this requirement is to provide a next-generation oxygen regulator for spacesuits, designed to meet the highest standards of functionality and safety. This advanced system will play a crucial role in supporting mission objectives and will serve as an essential component for future NASA and commercial missions to the Moon and beyond. Additionally, the ASR acquisition may address the evolving needs of other NASA Centers, including enhancements to oxygen regulation systems, integration of advanced filtration technologies, and electronic control mechanisms for precise set-pressure adjustments.
The Government does not intend to acquire a commercial product or commercial service using FAR Part 12.
The NAICS Code and Size Standard are 336419 and 1,050 employees, respectively.
The anticipated release date of the ASR Request for Proposal 80JSC025R7004 is on or about June 24, 2025, with an anticipated proposal due 30 calendar days later.
All responsible sources may submit an offer which will be considered by the agency.
The anticipated contract award date will be October 1, 2025, or sooner with an immediate effective date. The contract will be performed primarily offsite at the contractor’s chosen facility. Additional testing may be performed onsite at NASA facilities, including but not limited to Johnson Space Center and White Sands Test Facility, as outlined in the Statement of Work, or via technical direction.
