The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) intends to award a firm‑fixed‑price preventative maintenance contract to Agilent Technologies, 2850 Centerville Rd, Wilmington, DE 19808‑1610. The contract will provide OEM maintenance services and software updates for a twelve (12) month period.
The FBI Laboratory Division (LD) requires OEM maintenance to preserve warranty coverage for the Agilent Bravo liquid handling robot and Agilent PlateLoc instruments. Only Agilent‑certified engineers are authorized to service these systems, access proprietary software, and supply OEM parts. Third‑party service is not permitted and would void the manufacturer’s warranty. Market research confirms that Agilent Technologies is the sole source capable of meeting these requirements. A Justification for Other Than Full and Open Competition is available upon request.
