    Description

    This purpose of this pre-solicitation notice is to inform all interested parties about the site visit tentatively scheduled for 13-16 February 2024 at Naval Station Guantanamo Bay (NSGB), Cuba. The purpose of this site-visit is to allow potential contractors to familiarize themselves with NSGB for an enhanced understanding of the solicitation requirements.  The Government intends to post solicitation N6883624R0003 as a 100% Service Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business set-aside on or about 30 January 2024. Please see the below information regarding the site visit: Site visit Date/Time:                      13-16 February 2024, time TBD Site visit Point of Contact:             Maria Brophy, maria.n.brophy.civ@us.navy.mil Site visit RSVP due date/time:      16 January 2024, 5:00 PM EST Site visit attendee limits:                No more than three (3) attendees per company shall attend. The following is required to travel on Air Mobility Command (AMC) aircraft:  A. Valid passport. A Passport card is NOT valid for air travel.  B. Properly executed SECNAVFORM 5512/1. To be provided to the contractor after required information is submitted via email.  C. Letter of Authorization signed by the Procurement Contracting Officer (PCO). To be completed by the PCO upon email from the contractor with required information below.   D. Form of payment, or can be billed to their company if necessary.  Flight costs are $393.00 each way.  E. Baggage within allowable size/weight limits:  62 linear inches and 70LB. NOTE:  Plane departs NASJAX, but returns to Jacksonville International. NOTE:  All passengers must report to the NASJAX AMC Terminal (BLDG 279) not later than 5:30 AM on day of travel.   If your company is interested in participating in the site visit and the Industry Day please contact Contract Specialist, Maria Brophy, at maria.n.brophy.civ@us.navy.mil, with the following information no later than 5:00 PM EST on 16 January 2024. Required information:  Company Name, Attendee Name(s), phone number, email address, and Company billing address.    Once the above information is provided, the Letter of Authorization will be issued and the SECNAV form will be provided to the contractor for the their completion for security authorization. Further information will also be provided for each contractor to make the necessary reservations at NSGB. Please note that lodging and rental cars are limited. The Draft Performance Work Statement is attached to this posting.
