A site visit to the facility will be available to interested vendors on May 27th at 10:00 AM EDT. The instructions for the DBIDS process are provided as an attachment to this solicitation. Arrival should be planned for 9:30 AM EDT at the Grissom ARB Visitors Center located at 1438 Foreman Drive, Grissom Air Reserve Base, IN 46971. for processing of access passes. The equipment to be purchased is commonly referred to as a wash rack system for maintenance of the KC-135 aircraft to be placed in Hangar 437/Dock 6 at Grissom ARB, IN. The project includes all necessary removal of existing wash rack equipment, transport, installation of new wash rack equipment and training for the wash system. The system generally consists of hose reels, control panels, water heaters, foam system, pumps, holding tank, piping as necessary, wiring, etc. as defined in the product specification to replace the system in place. This is being solicited as Small Business Set Aside for NAICS code 333310, with a size standard of 1,000 employees or less.
