The United States Air Force (USAF), 316th Contracting Squadron, intends to award a sole source (Only One Responsible Source) Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) modification to ADB Safegate.
The purpose of this modification is to refresh the existing hardware as part of the Airfield Lighting Control and Monitoring System (ALCMS) at Joint Base Andrews. JBA currently utilizes ADB Safegate equipment and software. Market research revealed that no other manufacturer would be able to provide lighting fixtures required for these repairs that meet the UFC requirements mentioned in section C of the attached document. Award will be made directly to ADB Safegate IAW FAR 6.302-1 “Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements”. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this acquisition is 488119, Other Airport Operations, with a size standard of $40M.
This notice is not a request for competitive proposals. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement which shall be considered by the agency before the intended award date. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed action based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Interested sources who submit data are responsible for appropriately marking information if it is proprietary in nature. The Government shall not reimburse interested sources for any information provided. No requests for capability briefings will be honored as a result of this notice, and any information provided will not be used as part of any subsequent solicitation requirement. If no response is received by 4:00 pm EDT, 4 Sep 2025, an award will be pursued with the company mentioned above. All responses shall reference solicitation number FA286025Q6022 and be sent via electronic mail to SSgt Connor Thompson at connor.thompson.2@us.af.mil. Inquiries and notices through telephone will not be honored.
