    DESCRIPTION OF WORK:

    Project Title: AJJY 23-1007 Repair Airfield Electrical Conduit and Glideslope Systems, Andersen Air Force Base, Guam.

    This solicitation notice is for a Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) construction contract of Project No. AJJY 23-1007 Repair Airfield Electrical Conduit and Glideslope Systems, Andersen Air Force Base, Guam.

    This solicitation will be a competitive Historically Underutilized Business Zone (HUBZone) Small Business Set-Aside for a Bid Build (DBB) construction contract to repair the airfield electrical conduit and glideslope systems in accordance with the Statement of Work provided with the solicitation. The project will upgrade electrical lines which include cables and conduits; replace handholes, corroded electrical panels, disconnect switches, and stanchion supports including frangible couplings to meet of UFC, UFGS, and IFS requirements and other applicable codes and standards. The work includes upgrade of electrical lines which include cables and conduits for 06L/24R north and 06R/24L south runway from Glideslope and Localizer shelters to their respective power supply source (generator buildings), provide step-up and step-down transformer, replace corroded electrical panels, replace disconnect switches and its support including frangible couplings.

    RESTRICTION TO SMALL BUSINESS:

    This acquisition is being competed as a Historically Underutilized Business Zone (HUBZone) Small Business Set-aside. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 238210 Electrical Contractors and Other Wiring Installation Contractors, with a small business size standard of $19 million. The eventual contract for this acquisition is contemplated to be Firm-Fixed Price (FFP).

    REQUEST FOR INFORMATION:

    Any Requests for Information (RFIs) regarding this solicitation are due on or before 27 March 2025 at 2:00pm hours ChSt and shall be submitted electronically via email to the notice POCs. The Government does not intend to respond to inquiries submitted after this deadline.
