AN/SPS-67(V)1 AND AN/SPS-67(V)3/5 ROTARY COUPLERS

The Government is issuing this Sources Sought announcement as part of market research only. It does not constitute a Request for Proposal or Invitation for Bid. This notice shall not be construed as a contract, a promise to contract, or as a commitment of any kind by the Government. The Government is not seeking or accepting unsolicited proposals. This Sources Sought is issued solely for conducting market research in accordance with FAR Part 10 and gathering information for planning purposes.

Naval Surface Warfare Center, Crane Division has a requirement for evaluation, repair, and refurbishment of SPS-67(V)1 Rotary Couplers and evaluation, repair, refurbishment, and new manufacture of SPS-67(V)3/5 Rotary Couplers. This requirement is planned as a Firm-Fixed price (FFP) indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract for a period of five (5) years for US Navy and Foreign Military Sales.  

The Government is seeking information from Contractors who may have the capability and facilities to accommodate this requirement. All interested parties are encouraged to submit a statement of current capabilities of no more than three (3) 8.5”x11” pages (font no smaller than 10 point) demonstrating ability to meet the requirements listed in this Sources Sought.

All responsible sources may submit a capability statement which shall be considered by the agency. The Government may contact Sources Sought respondents to obtain clarification on the information submitted.

At the current time, NO FUNDING IS AVAILABLE for bid/proposal contractual efforts. This Sources Sought does not constitute an Invitation for Bids (IFB), a Request for Quotes (RFQ) or a Request for Proposal (RFP), and it should not be construed as a commitment of any kind by the Government to issue a formal solicitation or ultimately award a contract. The US Government is in no way liable to pay for or reimburse any companies or entities that respond to this announcement. Any costs incurred by interested companies in response to this announcement WILL NOT be reimbursed.
