US Army Fort Leonard Wood (FLW), MO Fire Department (FD) has identified a requirement for the annual inspection of its emergency response fire trucks. All inspections will take place aboard the installation, with the inspection schedule divided into quarters. US Army Fort Leonard Wood is a secure government military base; therefore, a valid identification will be needed for all persons entering the installation. The Army is in custody of the following vehicles: QTY 4 Pierce manufactured fire trucks, QTY 1 Ferrara manufactured fire truck, QTY 1 Oshkosh manufactured fire truck, QTY 1 KME International manufactured fire truck, QTY 1 Ford manufactured fire truck, QTY 1 E-One manufactured fire truck. The Army will require that all fire trucks be inspected per the guidelines specified within NFPA 1910 Standard for Inspection, Maintenance, Refurbishment, Testing, Retirement of In-Service Emergency Vehicles, and Requirements for Marine Firefighting Vessels Edition 24. Please see the attachments for the example of the ANNUAL INSPECTION BUMPER- TOBUMPER (B2B) SHEET and the PUMP PERFORMANCE TEST WORKSHEET IAW NFPA 1910 that the US Army Fort Leonard Wood Fire Department will require to be used on all vehicle inspections. Offerors shall utilize the attachment labeled, Fire Truck Inspection Pricing Matrix, to submit their pricing structure in their formal proposal for this solicitation. There is no site visit planned for this solicitation
