    Description

    The 413th Regional Contracting Office, Alaska has a requirement for Unaccompanied Personnel Housing Appliance Maintenance Services at Fort Wainwright Alaska.

    This acquisition is 100% set-aside for small business.  The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) Code is 811412, Appliance Repair and Maintenance, with a small business size standard of $19 million.

    The Government is seeking a non-personal, Single-Award Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) services contract to provide Unaccompanied Personnel Housing Appliance Maintenance  Services at Fort Wainwright Alaska.  The resultant contract will be a service type contract, with a base period of one (1) year and four (4) option years. 

    This is a non-personal services contract to provide service and repair of Government-owned appliances. The Government shall not exercise any supervision or control over the contract service providers performing these services. Such contract service providers shall be accountable solely to the Contractor who, in turn is responsible to the Government.  

    The Contractor shall provide diagnosis, repair, service, transportation, and installation of Government-owned appliances. Appliances applicable to this contract include kitchen ranges, refrigerators, counter cook-tops, convection ovens, microwave ovens, washers, dryers, dishwashers, and garbage disposals. The Contractor is responsible for service and repair of all appliance components beginning at the appliance’s connection to the structure of the building (i.e. at the water valve, at the electrical outlet, etc.). The Contractor is expected to have or obtain appropriate service manuals for equipment included in this requirement. Warranty information will be included by the Government for new and existing appliances that are currently within the manufacturer warranty period. The Contractor shall coordinate access to affected appliances with the individual, office, or agency having control over the location of the appliances. 

    Award will be made in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 13.106-1(b), the procedures at FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, and the procedures at FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures.
