    Description

    AMENDMENT:  The date established for requested responses in the attached questionaire is amended

    FROM 20 SEP 2024 TO 4 OCT 2024.  

    The purpose of the synopsis is to gain knowledge of potential sources for this upcoming acquisition at Pituffik Space Base (SB), Greenland. This notice is for planning purposes only. All interested parties should respond by forwarding the attached Questionaire to andrew.lucas@spaceforce.mil. 

    Pituffik SB, Greenland, is considering seeking two (2) qualified firms to provide professional Architectural and Engineering (A&E) services (Title I Design, Title II Services, and other A&E services to include incidental related work associated with design for construction/repair of real property). Projects will require multi-discipline engineering services in accordance with Air Force Instruction (AFI) 32-1023. Contractor shall furnish all labor, transportation, tools, materials, equipment, and supervision required to provide A-E services for Pituffik SB, Greenland.  A&E services for architectural, civil, structural, interior, landscaping, electrical, mechanical, environmental, communications and fire protection may be required. Other professional services for comprehensive planning, programming, estimating, studies, surveying, testing, mapping reproduction, electronic document posting, geo-technical, investigations, and construction management/administration may be required. Projects will vary by type, scope, and complexity, requiring the use of various and multiple facility design disciplines and related technical services. Services provided by the A&E will be primarily for execution of sustainment, restoration and modernization (SRM) projects; minor construction (addition/remodel); maintenance (repair/alteration) of existing real property; and/or support of Government in-house designs.  Up to two (2) Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contracts for design services provided within an engineering discipline may be awarded from a forthcoming solicitation associated with this synopsis. The contract will provide a basic one-year ordering period with four (4) one-year options (total of five years). Cost limitation, if needed, will be specified for each task order in the scope of work. The guaranteed minimum for the life of the contract is $5,000.00, to be awarded at time of contract signing.  The maximum amount for the life of the contract shall not exceed $5,000,000.00.  Task orders issued against the IDIQ contract will be a firm fixed price. The estimated award date is between May 2025 and August 2025.  The NAICS code is 541310 (Architectural Services).  Consistent with an International Agreement between the United States of America and The Kingdom of Denmark, particularly the Aide Memoire of August 1962 and Diplomatic Note No. 53 of July 2008, maximum consideration will be afforded to firms within Greenland and The Kingdom of Denmark.
