AWPII EXTENSION JUSTIFICATION & APPROAL

Under the authority of FAR 8.405-6(a)(1)(i)(A), the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) has issued a Limited-Sources Justification (LSJ) for the AWP II Bridge Contract, to extend the current contract for 24 months which includes a 12 month base period and two (2) - 6 month optional periods. (Period of Performance ends 29 March 2028). The AWP-II program provides continued operations and sustainment to the AWP webbased capability known as “The Globe”, an enterprise-wide, centralized web presence for discovery of NGA products, services, and tools, m.Globe, and Discovery Catalog on the Unclassified, NIPR, SIPR, JWICS, CAPNET, and Stoneghost domains within the IC.  This extension action is necessary to complete the requirements for an acquisition to award a future contract designed to bundle services from other contracts and adjust to Agency direction. This notice is made IAW FAR 8.405-6(a)(2)(i) and is not a request for proposals.
