Market research is being conducted by the Network Contracting Office (NCO) 17 VHA Regional Procurement Office-West (RPO-W). This Sources Sought Notice is for informational and planning purposes only and shall not be construed as a solicitation or as an obligation or commitment by the Government. 3. This notice is intended strictly for Market Research purposes. This requirement is for Basic Life Support (BLS) Ambulance Transportation Services primarily from the Harlingen, Texas, and McAllen, Texas areas and their Community-Based Outpatient Clinics (CBOCs). This area is currently serving over 38,667 Veterans within the following counties: Dimmit, Duval, La Salle, Maverick, Webb, Zapata and Zavala. See DRAFT PWS for more details. 4. The purpose of this notice is to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources and their size classification/socioeconomic status (service-disabled veteran-owned small business, veteran-owned small business, women-owned small business, HUB Zone, 8(a), small business or large business, relative to NAICS 621910 with a size standard of $ 22.5 M. Responses to this notice will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions. A solicitation is not currently available. If a solicitation is issued, it will be announced on System for Award Management (SAM.gov), Contract Opportunities, or on GSA E-Buy at a later date. 5. All businesses eligible to provide this service are encouraged to reply, as this information may be used to determine potential set-asides for this requirement. 6.
