There is NO incumbent contractor or existing contract in place for this requirement. This is a first time requirement. Relocation of a Generac Model SBE500 Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) from a contractor storage lot in the vicinity of Dover Air Force Base (AFB), Delaware, to a designated site at Hanger 101, Stewart Air National Guard Base (ANGB), New York. Contractor will be responsible for, but not limited to: visually inspecting BESS and documenting, load and transfer BESS to 12550, off load BESS on dunnage provided by the contractor for BESS to ensure no damage to the ground surface. All other requirements for this project are listed in the attached Performance Work Statement (PWS). I've also attached a picture of the BESS and the spec sheets. NOTE: the contractor is responsible for loading and offloading the BESS. The government will NOT supply a crane, forklift, or any other means to perform this task. Loading and offloading the BESS is the responsibility of the contractor.
