THIS IS A PRESOLICITATION NOTICE OF A SET-ASIDE FOR SDVOSB Bid-Build (B/B) Correct Patient Privacy Deficiencies 2N/2S, Project No. 573A4-18-603.  This procurement is set-aside based on an order of priority as established in 38 U.S.C. 8127.

SET ASIDE FOR SERVICE DISABLE VETERANS OWNED SMALL BUSINESS(SDVOSB): This solicitation is being issued as a Set aside for Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business.

The NAICS code for this procurement is 236220 Commercial and Institution Building Construction with a size standard of $45M.

The VAAR 836.204 magnitude of this project is between $10,000,000.00 and $15,000,000.00. This Firm Fixed Price project will be Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business set-aside, as stated above.

This is a pre-solicitation notice only. No contract shall be awarded from this pre-solicitation notice.  The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 08 (NCO 08) is posting the synopsis for the follow-on RFP #36C24825R0067 Bid-Build (BB) Correct Patient Privacy Deficiencies 2N/2S, Project No. 573A4-18-603, at the Lake City VA Medical Center, located at 619 South Marion Avenue Lake City, FL 32025-5808.

The estimated period of performance to correct patient privacy deficiencies is for a total of 689 calendar days for all phases of the project after receipt of the notice to proceed. The scope of the project Contractor shall completely prepare site for building operations, including demolition and removal of existing structures, and furnish labor and materials and perform work for Correct Patient Privacy Deficiencies as required by the drawings and specifications included in this acquisition package.

The anticipated posting date of the solicitation on SAM.gov | Home will be on or about March 31, 2025. Contractors must be registered in the SAM.gov | Home portal prior to contract award, during contract period of performance and must continue to remain registered through the final invoice payment. SDVOSB and VOSB concerns must be registered in the SBA veteran Small Business Certification SDVOSBC prior to contract award, during contract period of performance and must continue to remain registered through the final invoice payment.

SDVOSBs are encouraged to respond to communicate interest in competing for this requirement to support requirement set-aside.
