BIG BEND DRAFT TUBE BULKHEAD REPLACEMENT

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Omaha District, hereby announces the solicitation for “Big Bend Draft Tube Bulkhead Replacement”.  The solicitation will close on 22 August 2025.   The solicitation is restricted to Small Businesses.   

Site Visit:

A Site Visit is scheduled and additional information regarding the site visit is provided in the solicitation via Section 00 21 00 par. 3.1. The site visit is scheduled for 05 August 2025.

Project Description: 

The work includes but is not limited to:

1. Fabrication, painting, delivery, installation, and onsite testing of six (6) new draft tube bulkheads with new seals.
   1. Two individual bulkhead leafs forms one bulkhead.
2. Removal and disposal of six (6) existing draft tube bulkheads specified by the government.

The Contractor will be required to commence work upon receipt of contract award and complete the work 600 calendar days after receipt of Notice to Proceed, this is subject to change after solicitation issuance. 

Estimated Construction Costs:

The estimated construction cost of this project is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000.
