    AMENDED 31 July 2025: Questions and Answers are posted (see attachment).

    The 97th Contracting Squadron, Altus Air Force Base, Oklahoma, intends to issue a Request for Quote (RFQ) for a borescope kit capable of performing required inspections on KC-135, and C-17 aircraft engines.

    This is a brand name or equal requirement IAW FAR 52.211-6. The preferred product is "Everest Mentor Flex 6.1mm X 3.0mm; Part#MFLAS6130-CO" with all accesories, tips, software that meet the salient characteristics listed in Attachment 4, but a product that meets the Attahment 4 - Salient Characteristics could also be considered technically acceptable.

    Any questions shall be submitted via email to the below points of contact by 31 July 2025 at 1100 CST (11:00AM CST).  

    This acquisition will fall under the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 333310.

    Prospective contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management Database (SAM) prior to submission of quotes.  Offerors are further advised that failure to register in the DoD SAM prior to submission of proposal will render your firm ineligible for award. Registration requires applicants to have a UEI number. Recommend registering immediately in order to be eligible for timely award.
