BUCKLEY, SFB - RESTRIPE SPEED HUMPS AND CROSSWALKS - 16 SEPT 2025

Buckley Space Force Base located in Aurora, Colorado is in need of a contractor to provide all labor, materials, equipment, transportation, and supervision necessary to perform striping, restriping and signage of the crosswalks and speed humps shown in the attached exhibits.

1.0 Striping

The Contractor shall provide new striping for all crosswalk locations that do not currently have striping per the figures in the included Attachment A in compliance with the requirements of the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD). Existing crosswalks that are excessively worn or partially effaced will be stripped and restriped. The contractor shall place crosswalk markings and stop bars in accordance with (IAW) the MUTCD.

The Contractor shall provide new pavement marking layouts, for all required areas, for approval prior to starting striping operations.

2.0 Signage

The Contractor shall install crosswalk signage IAW the MUTCD at all new crosswalk locations as well as existing crosswalks that do not have the appropriate signage. If satisfactory signage exists at a location, the contractor does not need to provide or install signage for that location.

The Contractor shall field verify all Government provided measurements at the area(s) of work to provide a firm fixed price proposal.
