    Page 2 of 2 PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE THIS PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE IS TO INFORM YOU THAT THE STRATTON VA MEDICAL CENTER, LOCATED AT 113 HOLLAND AVE, ALBANY, NY 12208 WILL BE POSTING A SOLICITATION ON OR AROUND MID MAY/JUNE 1st 2025 FOR THE AIR MONITOR PROJECT. The Stratton VA Medical Center s 2nd Floor A wing, rooms 221-223 in Albany, NY is undergoing construction to enhance its patient care by reconstructing the rooms and replacing the hospitals existing CT machine. The VA requires the services of a Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) to aid the VA during the General Contractor s asbestos and lead paint abatement. The CIH s services include, but are not limited to, hazardous materials abatement project review, quality assurance, air monitoring services and provide testing facilities, including materials, equipment, and transportation. The General Contractor s Abatement Sub-Contractor is anticipated to remove the following approximate quantities. Note that the quantities may differ from those shown on the plan and/or Asbestos and Lead Paint Survey Report by Terracon Consultants Inc. 30 linear feet of asbestos pipe insulation on steam and domestic water piping. This procurement will be a 100% set-aside for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses. The NAICS code is 541620. The small business standard is $19.0 Million. The project magnitude per FAR part 36 is less then $25,000. Solicitation materials consisting of the Information for Bid Details, Specifications, Drawings and Contract Forms will be available on beta.SAM.gov in electronic format only.
