Intent to Sole Source: The Government plans to issue a sole-source, firm-fixed-price contract in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) 6.103 and Veterans Affairs Acquisition Regulation (VAAR) 819.7008 Sole Source Awards to Verified SDVOSBs, which authorizes direct contracting with SDVOSBs. The contract is for the construction period of service (CPS) for renovating the canteen kitchen at the Charleston VA Medical Center. The designated source is Atriax P. LLC at 703 Main Ave SW, Hickory, North Carolina, 28602. In accordance with FAR Part 6, contracts awarded using this authority must be supported by a written justification, and approval will be posted within fourteen (14) days after contract award if the dollar amount meets the threshold.
