    Description

The purpose of this announcement is to inform industry of the Federal Highway Administration’s (FHWA) intent to modify a single-award Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (ID/IQ) contract for Non-Personal Services to Support the Intelligent Transportation Systems Joint Program Office (ITSJPO). FHWA anticipates increasing the ceiling by $1,000,000 to the following ID/IQ:

    •    INTELLIGENT TRANSPORTATION SYSTEMS (ITS) INFRASTRUCTURE STANDARDS DEVELOPMENT , MAINTENANCE, AND RELATED ACTIVITIES – 693JJ321D000005

Currently, the ID/IQ is in its fourth year of performance. However, it is apparent that the initial ceiling established for the award, $9,750,000, is significantly lower than what is needed to successfully complete all the tasks currently underway and envisioned in the near future. The current ID/IQ ceiling must be increased in order to allow for the award of high priority projects while FHWA puts in place a new contract vehicle. It is anticipated that the new vehicle will be put in place in FY 2026. Any questions pertaining this announcement should be addressed to the contract specialist, Malik Arnold at malik.arnold@dot.gov.
