    This Sources Sought Notice is issued by the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO) to identify sources capable of providing certification and maintenance for airborne infection isolation rooms.

    Sixty-two (62) airborne infection isolation rooms across sixteen (16) detention facilities require annual certification and maintenance to ensure proper airflow and calibration of negative pressure systems. Vendors must be able to provide annual certification, preventive maintenance, and analysis of airborne infection isolation rooms equipped with high-efficiency particulate air (HEPA) filtration units. Required services include, but are not limited to:

    • Written test/analysis report, including:
      • Inspection and review of gauges
      • Ultrafine particle count for HEPA core filter efficiency
      • Airflow measurements
      • Estimated room clearance rate and condition
      • Monitor calibration
      • Compliance with the latest American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE) standards and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) guidelines for tuberculosis prevention
      • Review of maintenance logs and cleaning protocols
      • Documentation of deficiencies and risks
    • Site-specific report documenting deficiencies and risks, provided within 48 hours of inspection
    • Quarterly consolidated master report detailing inspection results for each facility

    Please refer to the attached Statement of Work for a complete list of deliverables.

    DHS/ICE is seeking 8(a) small business sources capable of meeting these requirements. Interested parties are invited to submit capability statements addressing each requirement outlined above.

    Responses must be limited to three (3) pages, excluding title pages, index, or table of contents, and submitted in Microsoft Word (.doc/.docx) or PDF (.pdf) format. Please include your company’s UEI number, socio-economic status, and a point of contact.

    NOTICE: This notice is for information and planning purposes only and does not constitute a Request for Quote (RFQ), Request for Proposal (RFP), Invitation to Bid (IFB), or a commitment to issue any such solicitation in the future. The Government does not commit to a contract or order for any supply or service as a result of this notice.

    The Government is not seeking quotes, proposals, or bids at this time and will not accept unsolicited submissions. Responders are advised that the Government will not reimburse any costs incurred in response to this notice; all expenses are the sole responsibility of the interested parties.
