CHIPPEWA NATIONAL FOREST, BLACKDUCK RANGER DISTRICT, EVERTON CREEK TIMBER SALE PREPARATION

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Part 12.  This announcement constitutes the only solicitation.  Offers are being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. 

Solicitation number 12443926Q0187 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for   Everton Creek Timber Sale Preparation, Chippewa National Forest, Blackduck Ranger District, Blackduck, MN.    

Everton Creek Timber Sale Preparation consists of approximately 413 acres and an estimated 5,500 CCF of red pine, spruce, and balsam fir commercial thinning in payment units 10, 11, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 21, 22, 24, 26 and 27. Work includes stand boundary layout, boundary tracking/polygon creation using GPS, boundary marking, cut tree marking, and sample tree cruising. Marking requires the issuance and use of Forest Service Timber Marking (tracer) Paint and is highly accountable Government Furnished Property. Cruising requires the cruiser of record to be Forest Service Qualified Cruiser Certified.  

This acquisition  is set-aside for small business concerns.  The applicable North American Industry Classification Standard Code is 115310, Support Activities for Forestry.  The small business size standard is $11.5 M.  This acquisition is a Total Small Business Set-Aside.  All responsible sources may submit a quotation which will be considered by the agency.
