COMMERCIAL FAN PURCHASE AND INSTALL

The 502nd Contracting Squadron is looking for interested and capable vendors who can provide and install commercial industrial fans at 1701 Kenly Ave at Kelly Airfield on Lackland AFB (see attachments for details).  This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for a commodity prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. T

his announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested, and a separate Request for Quote (RFQ) will not be issued. The solicitation number is FA301625Q6172 and is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). This combined synopsis/solicitation incorporates provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2025-05 and DFARS change notice 01/17/2025.

This purchase is being solicited as 100% Small Business set-aside. This NAICS code is 333413 and the size standard is 500 employees. 

Description of Services

The scope of this service involves the supply and installation of two commercial-grade overhead Fan's (e.g.,Big Ass Fans), one 20' and one 12', along with controllers and mounting brackets inside the hangar to include all appurtenances such as the electrical branch wiring to exsisting panel box and controller to exsisting electrical services. The objectives is to improve air circulation within the hangar, enhance temperature control to create a more comfortable working environment and ensure the ceiling fan is installed safely, and securely. All work shall be performed by licensed contractors in accordance with all relevant building codes. The Contractor shall conduct a site visit prior to any work to assess exact site condition(s).
