This is an unrestricted acquisition for commercial shelf stable meals in support of FEMA emergencies. Commercial meal minimum technical requirements are as follows: Each meal shall be shelf-stable with a 10-12 month shelf life at 70 degrees F, a minimum of 800 kcal per meal/maximum 1460 kcal per meal, maximum 13g of saturated fat, maximum 2g of trans fat, total fat range between 10%-35% of meal, maximum 1000 mg of sodium, protein range between 10%-25% of meal, and no more than 60% of meal comprised of carbohydrates. Meals should not include a fluid drink. All other foods must be ready-to-eat and shelf stable.
