COMMUNITY ANNOUNCEMENT: RELEASE STATUS OF AN EARTH VENTURE ORBITAL SOLICITATION

This announcement has been reactivated on August 1, 2026 to alert the community that NASA has posted an amendment to the Q&As for the EVO-1 AO on the program’s home page. NASA also welcomes further questions and requests for clarification in advance of the publication of the Draft AO, and will continue to post questions and responses as they are received.

NASA is releasing a Community Announcement (CA) as an advanced notice of NASA’s intention to solicit Earth Venture (EV) investigations. This will be the first solicitation in the Earth Venture Orbital (EVO) series and will be soliciting innovative, Principal Investigator (PI)-led, cost-capped investigations for operations in Low Earth Orbit (LEO).

On or after the publication date of this www.SAM.gov special notice, the full text for this CA will be available for download from the EVO-1 Acquisition Homepage listed under the links. The full text of the CA is also provided as the attached PDF file entitled “CA_EVO-1_FullText”.
