    This notice is issued by Norfolk Naval Shipyard (NNSY) for the sole purpose of conducting Market Research in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 10, to provide services to test, fill and inspect combination pressure demand breathing apparatus (CPDBA) and regulators. This effort is to seek out qualified sources capable of providing services required by the attached Statement of Work (SOW). All interested parties are encouraged to respond.

    The anticipated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 541990. The Government anticipates issuing a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract for the required services.

    The Government is interested in receiving responses from all qualified small businesses capable of providing the services. Companies that have experience with these repairs and maintenance are encouraged to respond to this notice by February 5, 2026 at 11 AM. This notice is for informational and planning purposes only and is not to be construed as a commitment by the U.S. Government, nor will the U.S. Government pay for information solicited. The Government will not return any information submitted, nor will the Government compensate any company who responds to this Notice. Proprietary information submitted will be protected, when so designated. The following key information is requested:

    1. Company name, address, telephone number, CAGE code, DUNS number, point of contact (name, phone# and e-mail). If your company is a small business, please identify the socioeconomic status.

    2. Explanation of the company's ability to perform 100% of the efforts required. This statement shall not reiterate or duplicate the language set forth in this notice or language from the attached DRAFT SOW. Your CAPABILITIES STATEMENT shall demonstrate your company’s ability to perform these critical tasks in their entirety.

    Interested sources should send requested information in a single Adobe Acrobat (.pdf) email attachment to ykita.a.squire.civ@us.navy.mil, no later than February 5, 2026 at 11 AM.

    NO HARD COPY OR FACSIMILE SUBMISSIONS SHALL BE ACCEPTED.
