DESCRIPTION
This is a Sources Sought Notice to identify Architectural and Engineering (A&E) firms to provide professional services for the CRMF Cleanroom Design Project. This is not a solicitation for proposal or quotations and no award will be made from this Notice. Instead, the purpose of this sources sought notice is to identify interested vendors for the upcoming formal solicitation, tentatively planned to be released in Fall 2025.
The purpose of the CRMF Cleanroom Design Project is to provide a detailed design of a clean room (ISO 4) and an Ultra-Pure Water system that will be located inside a new building at SLAC known as Cryomodule Repair and Maintenance Facility (CRMF).
Design package: Prepare a drawing package that can be used to solicit contractor bids to have the cleanroom and UPW system constructed.
BACKGROUND
The purpose of the CRMF Cleanroom Design Project is to provide a detailed design of a clean room (ISO 4) and an Ultra-Pure Water system that will be located inside a new building at SLAC known as Cryomodule Repair and Maintenance Facility (CRMF).
PLANNED SCOPE AND DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES
SLAC is seeking the services of a qualified Architectural & Engineering (A&E) design firm to complete the scope in the attached Statement of Work (SOW), which includes developing and providing a final design package, Issued for Construction (IFC) set of drawings and specifications, as well as construction cost and schedule estimates.
The attached SOW includes the following base and optional scopes:
The draft SOW, draft Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) and relevant references are provided. These draft documents provided are subject to change. SLAC intends to issue a formal solicitation with final documents later based on responses from this Source Sought Notice.
