    Description

Notice of Intent to Sole Source to OLI Systems Inc., for OLI Studio, OLI Flowsheet, and OLI Engine API Software License Lease and Maintenance and Upgrade Service Renewal POP 05/23/2026 – 05/22/2027.

In accordance with Revolutionary FAR Overhaul (RFO) Part 12 - Acquisition of Commercial Products and Commercial Services, the Department of Energy (DOE), National Energy Technology Laboratory (NETL) intends to negotiate and award a purchase order on a sole source basis to OLI Systems Inc. for the OLI Studio, OLI Flowsheet, and OLI Engine API Software License Lease and Maintenance and Upgrade Service Renewal POP 05/23/2026 – 05/22/2027 because OLI is the only known software that can perform both functions of chemistry inputs and modeling of various water treatment processes at the same time, while providing accurate predictions for precipitation of ions, such as calcium and barium sulfate without having to provide user-defined inputs.
