Pursuant to the authority of 10 U.S.C. §4022, the Defense Health Agency intends to award an Other Transaction Agreement to partner with commercial medical providers to enhance the lethality and readiness of Military Health System. In accordance with 10 U.S.C. 4022(f)(2), a follow-on production contract or transaction may be awarded following the prototype if the participants in the transaction successfully complete the prototype.
