DEHUMIDIFIER (DH) AIR CONDITIONER (AC) RENTAL IDIQ

In accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 10.002(b), this Sources Sought Notice is for market research and information purposes only at this time and shall not be construed as a solicitation or as an obligation.  This notice is to determine the availability of small businesses (including the following subsets, Small Disadvantaged Businesses, HUBZone Firms; Certified 8(a), Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business and Woman Owned Small Business) to provide the required services.

Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility (PHNSY&IMF) is issuing this sources Sought Synopsis to conduct market research for an anticipated requirement to establish a Firm Fixed Price Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract. The contract will provide temporary Air Conditioning (AC) units and related services, including delivery, maintenance, and retrieval. The anticipated requirement is approximately eight (8) units per month over a 12-month period, with a minimum ordering quantity of one (1) unit annually. The contract will include a five-year ordering period. Individual Task Orders (TOs) will define the specific Period of Performance, which shall not exceed 12 months. All TOs must be issued within the established ordering period of the resultant contract.

The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 532490 Other Commercial & Industrial Machinery & Equipment Rental & Leasing; the size standard for this NAICS is $40 million. Product Service Code is W041 - Lease or Rental of Equipment- Refrigeration, Air Conditioning and Air Circulating Equipment

This request for capability information does not constitute a request for proposals. Submission of any information in response to this market survey is purely voluntary. The Government assumes no financial responsibility for any costs incurred.

To be considered for technical merit and capability, responses must be received by the stated deadline. The Government reserves the right to determine how and whether to proceed with this requirement at its sole discretion.
