DENTRIX ENTERPRISE DENTAL SOFTWARE SERVICES FOR ZUNI COMPREHENSIVE COMMUNITY HEALTH CENTER

NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT:

The Indian Health Service (IHS), Albuquerque Area Office (AAO), intends to award a sole source, firm-fixed-price (FFP) contract to Henry Schein Inc. (UEI: YEGDA6XVFCN3) for Dentrix Enterprise dental software services, including licensing, maintenance, updates, and technical support, for Zuni Comprehensive Community Health Center (ZCCHC), Zuni, New Mexico.

This acquisition is conducted under FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(ii), Only One Responsible Source. Henry Schein Inc. is the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) and the sole source provider for the required services. The services are directly related to the support of Dentrix Enterprise (DXE) software, which is developed and owned by Henry Schein Inc., and for which the company retains exclusive proprietary rights. As such, no other vendor is authorized or capable of providing the required software licensing and support services without unacceptable disruption to existing operations.

The anticipated period of performance includes a base period from March 01, 2026, through February 28, 2027, with four (4) option periods through February 28, 2031. The place of performance is Zuni Comprehensive Community Health Center (ZCCHC), Zuni, New Mexico.   

The applicable NAICS code is 513210- Software Publishers, and the PSC Code is DA10- IT and Telecom-Business Application/Application Development Software as a Service.

This notice is not a solicitation or request for quotes. However, interested parties that believe they can meet the requirement may submit a capability statement, including proof of OEM authorization to provide Dentrix Enterprise software and support, along with their UEI number and business size status.

Responses are due no later than April 08, 2026, at 12:00 PM (MT).
