Effective January 22, 2021, the government has issued and published the FIRST & SECOND Amendments against this Solicitation.  Due to system glitches, the numbering sequence for these Amendments resulted as 0003, and 0004 respectively (a detailed explanation is located under Amendment 0004). Please refer to Attachments Section herein this notice.  Under a subsequent Notice, the government will be providing the Webex address and dial-in number for the viewing and listening to the Bid Opening. 

This is a combined Synopsis/Solicitation Notice for Commercial Items issued pursuant to the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. Price Bids are being requested and a written solicitation is enclosed. The Solicitation Number is W912P621B0005.

Under this notice, the United States Army Corps of Engineers - Chicago District is issuing a Solicitation package for consideration of bids. The work involves the DISPERSAL BARRIER FACILITIES OPERATION AND MAINTENANCE, Romeoville, (Will County) Illinois, 60446. The Contractor will be required to furnish staff of experience, support equipment, and material of quantity to provide one (1) per shift 24-7 Operator; annual bridge crane inspection, load testing and certification; annual inspection, maintenance and load bank testing on multiple diesel generators; and other miscellaneous maintenance and services for the USACE Chicago Sanitary and Ship Canal (CSSC) Aquatic Nuisance Species Dispersal Barrier (ANSDB or Dispersal Barrier) facility buildings. 

The applicable Size Standard is North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code 561210, with a Small Business Size Standard in dollars of $41.5M.

COMPETITION FOR THIS ACQUISITION IS RESERVED EXCLUSIVELY FOR SMALL BUSINESS CONCERNS.
