DISTRICT OF ALASKA - GUARD TRANSPORTATION SERVICES

The intent of this pre-solicitation synopsis is to make notice of a proposed contract action for secure prisoner transportation support services. The services are intended for the United States Marshals Service (USMS), District of Alaska.

Project Description:

The North American Industry Classification System code for this requirement is 561612 – Security Guard and Patrol Services, and the Product Service Code is V127 – Transportation/Travel/Relocation-Transportation:  Security Vehicle.

The transportation support services require armed transportation officers and appropriate vehicles to transport federal detainees between detention facilities and courthouses in Anchorage, AK. Services must be available at short notice and are expected to occur Monday through Friday during regular court hours. Vehicles shall be contractor-owned, and the contractor must have an existing operational presence in this location. 

This synopsis does not constitute a solicitation; however, if any interested party believes they can meet the above requirement, it may submit a capability statement. The capability statement must be submitted in writing and must contain clear and convincing evidence that competition to this requirement would be advantageous to the Government.

Responsible sources that believe that they can perform these services in their entirety must submit a written notification of interest and capability statement no later than 5pm Eastern Standard Time on November 24, 2025, to be considered by the agency.

If parties choose to respond, any costs associated with preparation and submission of data or any other costs incurred in response to this announcement are the sole responsibility of the respondent and will not be reimbursed by the Government.
