The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Detroit District (LRE) is hosting a virtual Industry Day on Monday June 9, 2025, from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm (ET) to discuss the upcoming dredging of Duluth Superior Harbor and to gauge contractor interest in participating in this project which is going to be re-solicited. We are looking for innovative solutions that can address challenges and provide a sustainable and cost-effective approach to dredging the harbor. Some challenges include, but are not limited to, scheduling, period of performance, and placement issues. The purpose of this Industry Day is to have an open discussion with contractors to share their experiences, ideas, and suggestions on how to overcome these challenges and successfully dredge the harbor. We would appreciate if you will be able to have a representative from your company participate. To register, email Michelle Barr at michelle.barr@usace.army.mil and include "Duluth Superior Harbor MD Industry Day" in the subject line. The meeting invite will be sent to the email you provide.
