    Description

    The U.S. Army Engineer Research and Development Center (ERDC), Construction Engineering Research Laboratory (CERL) is developing an application to characterize rangelands on a global scale for Army mission support in increasing ability to make informed operational environmental decisions.  Data from many regions/landscapes is required for the development of this application, currently CERL is specifically seeking contractor services for the collection and provision of data in the form of distribution of above ground biomass (AGB) e.g., vegetation height and cover, from the region of Kenya, Africa.  

    The effort to be contracted will consist of collecting data from two separate ecosystems in Kenya: one grassland ecosystem and one savannah ecosystem. See the Performance Work Statement (PWS) section, pages 5-9, of the attached solicitation document for full detail of the scope of the effort to be performed 

    Please also refer to page 30 of the attached solicitation for details on what documentation needs to be included in offers submitted to confirm offeror qualifications, and page 27 for details on how that documentation will be evaluated to determine which offeror represents best value to the Government.
